Every year Ventspils University College organizes scientific conferences and workshops.
Annual International Scientific Conference
Annual International Scientific Conference is organized by all three universities that are implementing the doctoral study programme in business administration – Ventspils University College, Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration,BA School of Business and Finance, and every year this conference takes place in one of the partner universities. A journal of collected articles “Journal of Business Management” containing best scientific articles of the doctoral students is issued after each conference.
In 2011 the conference was hosted by RISEBA, but in April 26 and 27, 2012 conference “Information Society and Modern Business. Knowledge Creation and Transfer into New Competences” will take place in Ventspils University College together with other events celebrating 15th anniversary of VUC.

Baltic Applied Astroinformatics and Space data Processing
The first international conference of Ventspils University College was held in 2003. After four successfully provided conferences and in order to celebrate its 15th anniversary, Ventspils University College organizes several co-located International Conferences among them the 1st international research conference „Baltic Applied Astroinformatics and Space data Processing” (BAASP 2012), financed from European Regional Development Fund’s project “International competitiveness and capacity-building of Satellite research” (SATTEH, No.2010/0189/2DP/2.1.1.2.0/10/APIA/VIAA/019) being implemented in Engineering Research Institute “Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Center” of Ventspils University College.
