eBook Subscription Harvard Business Review Press Collection
This ground-breaking collection contains the complete catalog of Harvard Business Review e-books.  With over 600 e-books that include 400+ monographs, newly published e-books, seminal works, and 150+ article compilations of the HBR Classics series, faculty will be available to quickly provide relevant digital materials for their students.

The database can be accessed on EBSCOhost platform on in the internal network of institution and remotely from home computers and mobile devices.

is the publishing house Elsevier multidisciplinary scientific publications and bibliographic citation information database containing almost 20,000 journals from 5,000 publishers and about 4.6 million conference materials. Scopus also offers article summaries and the ability to download full-text articles from publishers' full-text databases such as ScienceDirect, SAGE Journals Online and more. Full text articles can only be downloaded from those journals that are available in Ventspils University of Applied Sciences subscribed databases or are available in the public domain. Like the Web of Science VUAS academic and administrative staff, Scopus provides a single point of access to and citation of publications in major scientific journals, thus allowing the scientific achievements of authors to be evaluated.

Science Direct

is the Elsevier publishing database for natural and technical sciences, life sciences and medicine, and humanities and social sciences. The database contains information on thousands of magazines and books published by Elsevier. Full texts marked with a green symbol and articles with a white symbol are available for bibliographic information and article summaries.

Web of Science

is a leading electronic resource research platform formed by Thomson Reuters. A single platform provides an integrated access to high quality literature, combines information search in bibliographic (including citation index) databases, helps you find the latest and most relevant scientific publications in high-impact factor journals, conference proceedings, and more as well as showcasing scientific publications. The Web of Science contains the most important scientific information for over 12,000 journals and 160,000 conference proceedings in 250 disciplines in the natural sciences, the social sciences and the humanities sciences.
